Keep busy or let grow?

Implementing skill drills is not easy. But isn't giving training or teaching in general just a profession that requires you to invest in addition to education, drive and time?

The board of US Amsterdam has embraced Skilldrills and sees its social value. After 5 sessions in the field, Claudia's summary is really clear:

Hi Sven,

You have confirmed my view about our US CMV trainings: we keep them busy.
But that is different from actually implementing training according to the skilldrills philosophy.

I already said on Friday 'I feel it; you see it'.

Regards,
Claudia

Many people who are on the sidelines keep children busy, which is a super nice intention. The question is also whether that hour per week should be something else.

I think so. If we want to take ourselves seriously as sports providers, we also have to show what our value is. Especially in our culture where sports is already an appendage and is enormously undervalued.

And for that to happen, someone needs to stand up in the club or the club needs to attract someone who will add that value.
